All Natural Hand Balm for Repairing Skin and Strengthening Hands

DRAGON BLOOD RESIN

Xue Jie | Sanguis Draconis

Our namesake ingredient. Used traditionally for traumatic injuries and treating sores. It works great for beaten-up hands and even on broken skin.

MYRRH

Mo Yao | Resina Myrhhae

Works in conjunction with Dragon Blood and Frankensense. Great for skin rejuvenation and wound treatment.

FRANKENSENSE

Ru Xiang | Olibanum

Works in conjunction with Dragon Blood and Myrrh. Together, these three herbs are the core of our formula.

ARNEBIA ROOT

Zi Cao | Radix Arnebiae seu Lithospermi

Traditionally used in burn creams; great for helping heal damaged skin. There are many formulas where this is the only herb used (alongside beeswax and sesame oil). We’ve found that this herb is incredible at healing mildly damaged or dry skin (and chapped lips).

ANGELICA ROOT

Dang Gui | Angelica Sinesis

Improves blood circulation which accelerates skin healing.

ANGELICA DAHURICAN ROOT

Bai Zhi | Radix Angelicae Dahuricae

This herb helps joints disperse fluid accumulation and brings down swelling.

MUGWORT

Ai Ye | Artemisia Vulgaris

This herb increases blood flow and stops pain. It is used traditionally for joint pain that gets worse with cold weather. We use it for addressing the potential chronic complications on the finger joints for sports such as rock climbing.

PEPPERMINT

Bo He | Herba Menthae Pipperata

This oil is a great topical pain reliever and anti-inflammatory. It also masks some of the less familiar smells of the other herbs.

SAPPAN WOOD

Su Mu | Lignum Sappan

Similar to the first three herbs, but also works particularly well on tendons and ligaments.

SAFFLOWER

Hong Hua | Flos Carthamiii

Increases blood circulation, stops pain, and reduces inflammation. Used in almost every traditional trauma formula.

... as well as Jojoba oil, Beeswax, and Hempseed Oil for the hand-feel and absorption!
